Texas born, Arizona raised, I grew up in Tucson and studied Industrial Design at Arizona State University. During college, I worked nights at a cozy little neighborhood restaurant, and had a part time job doing graphic design at a local start up. After graduation, I moved to Huntington Beach, CA to intern at Bosch in the Home Appliance Division. This was my first product design job out of college and I learned a lot about working on a professional design team and being creative in a corporate environment.
I left sunny California to work at a consultancy in Austin, Texas. Our firm primarily did consumer electronics (i.e. laptops, monitors, keyboards, printers, air purifiers, etc.) but dabbled in some soft goods like backpacks and laptop bags.
While living in Austin, I became very active in the cycling community which eventually led to my creation of a brand of women's cycling underwear. I successfully launched and funded my project on Kickstarter and discovered my love for apparel and accessory design. This led to the decision to take my career in another direction. With that, I picked up and moved to Denver, Colorado to design cycling and running apparel for the performance brand, Pearl Izumi.
I’m now based in Brooklyn, NY where I do branding, creative direction, and freelance design. Art and design are a big part of my daily life and I feed off the energy of other designers. Travel inspires me like nothing else. I get excited about new ideas and love to talk shop. Feel free to get in touch.
